Mouse cookies
Mom came for the weekend and Lily talked her into making these. They kind of unnerved me so I would never agree to make them with her. But they were fun but I admit still kind of weird.
Cookies
3 cups flour - she used a mixture of almond, sorghum, and rice
1/2 t. salt
2 cubes melted butter
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup carob
nuts for ears and eyes
So Mom made these and sent me the recipe - so of course there are no instructions. So use your basic baking knowledge. Split dough in half then add the carob to half of the dough. Refrigerate the dough then form into mice. Add nuts for ears and eyes. Twigs for tails. Bake - no idea how long, so when they are done. Probably 12-15 minutes.
