Paprika Soup
I was looking through food ideas on the internet when I ran across a Hungarian dish. I modified it (it probably barely resembles the original) and the final result is wonderful! (It would totally work without the chicken too.)
Maggie and Christy declared it was their favorite soup ever.
In a soup pan fry
2T oil
salt
2T paprika
2 lbs chicken thighs, roughly cut
When the chicken is done pull it out of the pan and put in
2T oil
salt
4T paprika
1/3 cabbage, sliced thin
2 tomatoes
Pan fry this mixture, when it is soft add the cooked chicken and the following
1 1/2 c water (or chicken stock)
1/2 cauliflower, pureed (I cooked it while the chicken was cooking and put it, and the water I steamed it in in the vitamix)
salt and pepper to taste
