Mittens

Laura came for New Years and in the very last rush for her to take her family home, I decided it was time for her to teach me to make mittens from old sweaters. I can knit just fine, but it is hard to beat making 4 pairs of mittens in an afternoon out of 2 old sweaters and 2 old t-shirts. Laura told me to use the pattern from here, but she lengthened the part that goes down the arm and eliminated any elastic. We were not careful enough when sewing to always make a mirror image for a pair of mittens. Just pay attention.
