These are super easy to make and taste great. I like to make and eat them instead of bread.
Drop Biscuits
2 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup butter, frozen and grated
1 1/4 cups milk
Preheat oven to 425.
Grate the frozen butter into a medium size bowl. Add the flour, baking powder salt and sugar on top and mix the dry ingredients together and stir with the butter. This will look like coarse crumbs. Mix in the milk.
Drop batter onto cookie sheet or drop into a casserole dish close together
Bake the biscuits on the cookie sheet for 12 to 15 minutes until tops are golden brown. Add time for the casserole dish and check them frequently until done because I am not sure how much longer it takes.
