Chocolate Roulade

This one is made with cool whip and strawberries.
This is a kid pleaser.  It is meant to be rolled (like Christy's strawberry rolled cake) but I have never successfully done this so it always ends up as a trifle. This is more my speed anyway and I get to use my cool bowl.  Another bonus is that is contains no flour, however there are lots of eggs.  I would suggest that if you want to WOW a group of kids make this into a trifle with strawberries,  cool whip (or your substitute), pudding (optional), and sprinkle with fruit, or mini chocolate chips.  The chocolate chips seem to create more excitement, so long as they can see the strawberries through the bowl.

Cake Recipe:

3/4 cups chocolate chips
5 eggs (separate)
3/4 cup sugar
3 T hot water

Whisk together yolks and sugar.
Melt chocolate with hot water, mix in egg mixture.
Beat whites until soft peaks, fold into the chocolate/egg mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees in a jelly roll pan for 15-20 minutes.  Theoretically you can roll this, good luck.
